• Nothing much this week as I'm just back from my holidays, so the Parish Bulletin has been updated and a new "In The Trenches" is also on line.

• More for our Catholic Apologetics Section, I have added an excellent new site based on a form of R.C.I.A. Beginning Catholic. It is a good site with excellent "no-nonsense" sections on the articles of the Catholic faith.

• Our Youth Group Section has been updated with new meeting dates and times. Remember all youth are invited to come by and see what's going on.

• Under our Local Catholic Links, the Diocese of Sault St. Marie is now active, and their new link is under our Dioceses of Ontario section.

• The Parish Bulletin has been updated and a new "In The Trenches" is also on line.

• Just a note; I'm away for the next week taking a bit of time off, so there will be no updates until July 31^st.

• Under our Catholic Apologetics Section, I have added The Evangelization Station. It is a good site with many rebuttals and articles on and defending the Catholic faith.

• The Parish Bulletin has been updated and just a note to let you know that we print our bulletin year 'round, and a new "In The Trenches" is also on line.

• I'm working with a new operating system (Windows Vista) and there's been a few teething problems, but everything seems normal now.

• I'm going to slow down the updates a bit for the summer. I want to program a prayer request page that will give all visitors a chance to ask for prayer by the Sts. Martha and Mary community.

• First off, thank you for all the prayers during my hospital stay. I am back to full health and have resumed my duties. As you might be aware, the website has not been updated for two weeks but now we are back on schedule.

• Another award! This time a Bronze Excellence award for making the internet a better place.

• There is a new short story under our Youth Group Page, titled "Two Wolves". It is an excellent allegory and well worth reading.

• As always, the Parish Bulletin has been updated and a new "In The Trenches" is also available.

May 27^th, 2006

• Another two awards! These awards are now beginning to represent some of the top secular awards for design and content as well.

• 1. We have won the Invision Graphics Web Design Award in design and structure for 2006 and 2007.

• 2. Also, we've won the Morning Star Web Award for design and content. This is an unusual award as it is one of very few handed out by Native Americans.

• The Youth Group have added another funny story to our Christian Humour Page, sent to us by John and Gloria. It's about Noah... and it's also good advice!

• Under our Catholic Media Section, which is below Catholic Links, I have added San Francisco Faith, a Catholic newspaper with many interesting articles.

• In compliance with International Standards, we have added a link to our copyright and privacy statements, and our COPPA compliance at the bottom of every page. This is one of the steps needed as we get more international exposure.

• WOW! What a week for more awards and all from top-notch organizations! These awards are now beginning to represent some of the top secular awards for design and content as well.

• I have decided to create AWARDS Pages that coincide with the Order of the Award and when we received it. Each page under the AWARDS page will have no more than 10 awards per page... we are now up to 18!

• WOW! What a week for awards and all from top-notch organizations!
  
  1. We have won the Art Space 2000 World Wide Web Award for Excellence in design and ease of use.
  
  2. The Parent Super Site Award for design and enlightening content.
  
  3. Added to all these, we have won the Divine Web Presence Award in which they remarked, " Your parish deserve recognition and to be celebrated for your creativity, effort, talent and excellence of design. The Fruits of your labor are evident and your hard work has been well worth it.  Thank you for being a spiritual source on the World Wide Web."
  
  4. Today we also received the Silver Shield & Cross Award 2006 for design and content.
  
  5. We have won the Talking Hands Award for content and ease of use. This award has been in existence since 1986 and is considered one of the top web awards.

• Under our Catholic Apologetics Page, I have added a good short article by Sabrina Ferrisi titled "Debunking the Da Vinci Code". It is in PDF format for easy printing. Thanks to Stay Catholic for the article. Also there is Da Vinci Outreach out of Canada, which offers excellent material regarding this salacious book.

• There is a new Christian Humour section under our Youth Group Page. These are jokes and stories sent to us by youth and parishioners.

• Our site continues to win awards. We have won the Thomas Graves Bronze award for style and content. You can see the award on our Awards Page and Mr. Graves kind remarks as well.

• Under our Knights of Columbus Page, we've added the listing for the Spring Allocations 2006. I'm proud to say that the council gave out $50,000.00 to local charities this spring alone! Congratulations men!

• We are also registered with two new organizations. The Christian Web Registry, and the Top Christian Website Search Engine.

Their stamp of approval is found on our Home Page under our left side menu bar. These ratings are important to the Internet community and mean that our site will be included in child-safe search engines.
